Beehive Learning Academy is a State Licensed Child Care Center serving the greater Saint Geroge area. We offer care for children ages 3 months to 9 years of age. Beehive offers a wide range of programs including: Preschool & Kindergarten, Before, After, and Out-of-School Care; Infant Care, and Summer Camp. Beehive has adopted . . .
Why choose a Child Care Center? Many people don't realize that Child Care Centers are held to a higher standard than that of in-home, hourly, and other "babysitter" type settings. Teenagers (or anyone) that occasionally babysits in their home need no license, background checks, education, or safety knowledge. If you think about it, the number one danger to any child in any setting is a lack of supervision.
At Beehive we understand that choosing the right childcare program that will meet your family's needs is a very important decision. We know that the care given during the child's early years of life will build a foundation for their educational and social success later in life. Research has shown that a child who receives care in a high-quality learning environment will have greater success in school and as adults. Beehive is dedicated to your child’s success from their first baby step to their first spelling bee!
Infancy is a time of remarkable growth and development. In our infant program, emphasis is placed on the child’s individual needs, such as feeding and diapering, as well as interpersonal interaction. The caregivers provide warmth and tenderness as they care for each infant in our program.
Once a child celebrates their first birthday, the magic begins! The young toddler is now ready to step into the world and explore it with a curiosity that is unmatched. Our toddler program is designed to encourage this new-found independence in a fun, safe environment.
Two-year-olds are a busy bunch - physically and socially! Our two-year-old classroom is filled with colorful materials and fun filled learning activities that will amaze your child while supporting intellectual and social development.
Three-year-olds are ready to learn more and spend a great deal of time questioning the world around them. Our program uses this opportunity to focus on preschool readiness skills by providing a more structured learning environment. To help make learning fun we begin using the Scholastic preschool curriculum: My Big World featuring Clifford the big red dog,
Beehive is proud of our Jump-start Kinder-Prep program for children ages 4-5 who will be starting kindergarten the following school year. The Montessori structure and curriculum in this class is geared toward providing an early kindergarten experience for your child to give them the jump-start that will help them excel. Offered half-days or full-days.
For Ages 5-6. We offer a unique half-day and full-day Montessori Kindergarten program at Beehive Learning Academy. With a maximum classroom size of 14 students to one teacher, your child will receive more individual instruction. The curriculum includes Saxon Math, Shurley English, Scholastic's Let's Find Out, and more. The Montessori approach to early childhood education is renown for its success at inspiring and motivating young minds.
School children ages 5 to 10 enjoy their ‘out of school’ time at Beehive Learning Academy's Explorer Bee's Club. Our goal is to provide opportunities for them to explore and achieve their greatest potential. We also offer homework assistance.
It's that time of year to begin thinking about Summer plans! We are now enrolling for our S.T.E.A.M SUMMER Camp and / or SUMMER Preschool, featuring Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Montessori at Beehive, including weekly field trips. This program has been very popular and typically sells out months in advance. Register early!
The director and all the staff are very caring and they pay close attention to details that make each child unique. I feel that my granddaughter is in a safe and nurturing environment. I am comfortable leaving Elorah at Beehive Learning Academy because I know she will have fun and learn how to socialize with the other children.
It was well organized and my child had a great time.
Brooklyn loves coming to Beehive. She is sad she is unable to have Pizza on Fridays because it isn't there by the time she has to go to school.
This place is awesome! My stepson has so much fun and we really like the staff.
A typical day at work would include coming up with a lesson plan and implementing a fun and caring learning environment for my students. We danced, played musical instruments, had story time, breakfast, lunch, and snack (being familiar and following state regulations). The manager was incredible, and working with her was part of the reason the job was so much fun and comfortable. The hardest part of the job was keeping track of 36 children under the age of 5, insuring their safety at all times.
